Unusual Shoot

In my previous blog I mentioned that one of the great things about photography is the variety.

Well, from photographing a Film Premiere and a Charity Evening in February to photographing models with animals in March is as varied as it can get.

Organised by Dexter Morgan (, with three models, numerous sets and a number of animals supplied by Weird n Wonderful (, the Bodyline Studio ( at Nottingham hosted this extraordinary event.

As you can see from my pictures at ( the ideas were numerous and a very creative day was had by everyone.

It is said to never work with children and animals, however this event was superbly organised and managed, with the animals behaving impeccably.

These images are produced as a result of a team effort, and therefore special thanks go to the models Doe Demure, Serena Harrison, Emma Green, the Make Up Artist Natasha Maria , Melissa Bowen and the team at Weird n Wonderful, the team at Bodyline Studio, as well as Dex Morgan for organising.

I hope you like the images and as always, any comments are welcome.

Job Variety

Collage Collage 1One of the great things about photography is the variety. The options are endless and this was brought home to me during February of this year.

At the beginning I was asked to photograph a Film Premiere, and then at the end of February I was photographing a Charity Event.

Psychokinesis was premiered at the cinema in Cannock on a freezing night in February to selected guests associated with the film. Psychokinesis is the webseries “brainchild” of Joe Felton, with a lot of the programme being filmed either on location or within the studios “STUDIO 41” of Harvey Pro Media. Please visit for more information.

As well as photographing the guests as they arrived on the red carpet, I also took photographs of the props used and the ‘Q&A’ session after the screening of the film.

To view the photographs please go to and as you’ll see everyone enjoyed a spectacular evening, mixing with the talented actors and actresses, all brought about by the vision and talent of Joe Felton. I’m sure we’ll hear much more of him in the future

Onto the end of February and the charity event. This was organised by James and Rebecca for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and held at the Village Hotel, Dudley. Please go to to view the pictures.

This inspirational and at times emotional evening raised a staggering amount in excess of £4,700. A massive well done to James and Rebecca.

Photographs were taken of the guests as the fundraising got under way, as well as the details that went into making this evening a memorable one.

All in all everyone enjoyed a great evening and you can see the results on as you can see, two different jobs, but with everyone enjoying their nights.
