April is a very interesting month weather wise, where you can get four seasons in one day. April was the month of the first wedding of the year and the week leading up to the 11th April was perfect warm and dry, spring weather.
The day itself?…….started a little damp but as you can see from the photographs (http://www.thjphotography.jamesfarley.co.uk/portfolio/karen-and-daves-wedding-11-04-1/) turned out perfectly.
Karen and Dave are regular clients of THJ Photography so I was delighted when they asked me to photograph their special day.
This was a full day of photography starting with the pre wedding preparations, the service itself at Walsall Registry Office, then onto Walsall Arboretum for the group and couple shots, finishing off at Darlaston All Active Centre.
It was great to capture the atmosphere prior to the wedding, and then to capture the service itself. It is clear to see how much love Karen and Dave share between themselves and their families. The couple fully engaging their families in the preparations, and the day itself
Walsall Arboretum in spring provided the perfect backdrop for the group and couple shots, and this come through in the photographs.
As you’d expect for such a popular couple there was a tremendous turnout for the evening reception, and you can see this with some of the photos. And as stated earlier you can see how much of a tightly knit family unit they are.
I hope you enjoy looking at the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them.
If you know of anyone who’s planning to get married please don’t be afraid to drop them my contact details, as I’d love to have a chat with them to see if we can be a part of their day capturing those special moments.
