Job Variety | THJ Photography

Collage Collage 1One of the great things about photography is the variety. The options are endless and this was brought home to me during February of this year.

At the beginning I was asked to photograph a Film Premiere, and then at the end of February I was photographing a Charity Event.

Psychokinesis was premiered at the cinema in Cannock on a freezing night in February to selected guests associated with the film. Psychokinesis is the webseries “brainchild” of Joe Felton, with a lot of the programme being filmed either on location or within the studios “STUDIO 41” of Harvey Pro Media. Please visit http://www.harveypromedia.com/ for more information.

As well as photographing the guests as they arrived on the red carpet, I also took photographs of the props used and the ‘Q&A’ session after the screening of the film.

To view the photographs please go to http://www.thjphotography.jamesfarley.co.uk/portfolio/film-premiere-08-02-15/ and as you’ll see everyone enjoyed a spectacular evening, mixing with the talented actors and actresses, all brought about by the vision and talent of Joe Felton. I’m sure we’ll hear much more of him in the future

Onto the end of February and the charity event. This was organised by James and Rebecca for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and held at the Village Hotel, Dudley. Please go to http://www.thjphotography.jamesfarley.co.uk/portfolio/motor-neurone-disease-association-charity-night-28-02-15/ to view the pictures.

This inspirational and at times emotional evening raised a staggering amount in excess of £4,700. A massive well done to James and Rebecca.

Photographs were taken of the guests as the fundraising got under way, as well as the details that went into making this evening a memorable one.

All in all everyone enjoyed a great evening and you can see the results on as you can see, two different jobs, but with everyone enjoying their nights.
