Website Support

By March 2, 2015Uncategorized

Hi everyone, I hope you’re enjoying the website.

When I decided to set up a website for my photography, I never realised the amount of work required to get it up and running. The site itself would not have been possible without the support of a number of people.

Last Summer I attended a ‘Big Shoot Experience’ hosted by Damian McGillicuddy (http://www.damianmcgillicuddy.com). This was a fantastic experience in itself where I learnt a lot of skills that I try to implement into my photography every time I shoot.

I didn’t know it at the time but there was also another benefit of attending this event. I came into contact with Eifion Williams and Lee Iggulden who run Welshot Imaging. I have since come to appreciate how fortunate I was to come across these people.

Through the power of facebook I made contact with Lee and after a couple of conversations I was convinced that Welshot (http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk) could help me develop (excuse the pun) my photography to another level. Welshot is a group that provides….”academy evenings, photography workshops, experience days, software courses as well as other events in a friendly and affordable way….”. They are also a great networking group as well as offering business advice. Through Lee she advised that I need a Logo and a website in addition to my facebook page.

Consequently I contacted Nick Marsh of Nick Marsh Design (http://www.nickmarshdesign.co.uk), who was fantastic and very professional in helping to come with ideas for my logo that appears on my website, facebook page and my administration paperwork. I would recommend Nick to anyone that requires online and offline designs.

Back to Welshot and I was put into contact with James Farley (http://www.jamesfarley.co.uk), who is a photographer and a member of Welshot, as well as Website designer. After much hard work James designed the Website that you’re now looking at. Once again I would recommend James if you’re after a Website of your own.

So, as you can see there is a lot of effort and support that has gone into this site, and for that I would like to say….Thank you

As always if you have any comments please feel free to contact me.

    Thanks Nick.
The logo has received a positive response, and I would have no hesitation in recommending you in the future if and when the opportunity arises
